A Week in Paradise - Friday

DAY ONE

After waking up at 6:00, my family got in the car to head airport. After half an hour or so in the car, we arrived at the airport. Check in and security were surprisingly painless. We then went to sit in the Delta Sky Lounge until our flight was ready to board.

The greatest thing about the Sky Lounge (besides the wifi) was the Starbucks machine. With the press of a button you could have a steaming vanilla peppermint latte or cappuccino or anything you could want really. After making my delicious drink, I went and sat by the window to watch my daily dose Casey Neistat and catch a cool time lapse. Then it was time to get ready to board.

After boarding the plane, it was a typically long wait until take off with a typically easy flight. The flight of course had wifi so I was able to watch the movie Midnight in Paris. It was such a well done movie, and I loved the idea behind the movie. The script was well written... Overall, brilliantly done. Soon after my movie finished, we landed.

Customs was painless, and our bags were the first off the plane. The lady who drove us to where we're staying was polite, but didn't talk much. When we arrived at Tucker's Point, the condo/apartment/flat place we were staying in wasn't ready yet. We went to eat lunch at the hotel restaurant.

The food was good but the view was even better. The weather was the perfect temperature where you could eat outside and not need a jacket, but if you desired you could wear longer sleeves.

Afterwards, we went to the apartment like room and simply unpacked and relaxed for the rest of the day. We didn't go out for dinner. Instead we stayed in and watched Shawshank Redemption, and ate pizza.
